Men of Prayer

The men of our church meet on the second Saturday of each month at 7:30 am for a time of  prayer and fellowship, or the second Friday at 6:00 pm.  Each month one of our men share a word of testimony as to what God is doing in their life.  All men are welcome to come and join us for this special time.  It is a most meaningful time of men gathering together to pray, share testimonies and praise God.  Hope you can join us.  "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17

Sunday School Worker's Meeting and Church Wide Continental Breakfast Fellowship 8:30 a.m. the third Sunday of each month.

Ladies Luncheon

All ladies are invited to have lunch once a month at Golden Corral the last Monday of each month.  There will be a reserved area that you may request as you pay at the cashier. 
 

Ladies Bible Study

The Ladies Bible Study is currently going through a Bible study titled "The Mind of Christ"  Every second Tuesday of the month we will have our regular fellowship luncheon following the meeting.  Nursery is provided.  Please call Pat Allen at (361) 573-7255 for more information.

XTREME Teens

Purpose Statement
The XTREME teens are an eXciting Team growing together to Reach out to those who have not trusted in Christ, to Encourage other believers to serve God, to Magnify God in our lives, and to Enlarge our understanding of God.

Activities
We have two all-nighters a year. One is in the beginning of the Fall semester of school, and the other is in the Spring semester.  We also have once-a-month activities.

Once a year, we have a youth camp in Palacios, TX where teens experience a strong walk with the Lord, and make life-changing commitments.

On Sunday nights during the school year at 5:00 we have the High School Journey 24-7 and the Jr High Trek.  This is a time of memorizing God's Word, the Bible, and a time of knowing more about God.

Children Ministries

AWANA Program
The words AWANA stand for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed.  This is a fun and exciting program in knowing about God as they  memorize verses and play a variety of games and songs.  The AWANA Program begins when the public school begins to the end of school on Sunday nights from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

Children's Church, Sunday School, and Wednesday nights
These ministries are another time that boys and girls get to know more about God and others as well.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is an exciting time for our whole church where boys and girls from pre-k to 6th grade learn about God while having a fun time.
