From the beginning of time, there has been a need for man to
have fellowship with God. Since we are born with a sinful nature,
it is vitally important that we prepare for eternity. There is a
void within every person that cries out to be filled. In the very
beginning Satan has tried to convince us that there is a god within each
of us. That is in fact the oldest lie in the world. The serpent
told Adam and Eve, "you shall be as gods". That same lie is frequently
heard today.
The Bible is very clear that there is not a god in each of us.
This life we live is very short compared to eternity. The Bible says,
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life?
It is even just a vapor that appears for a little while then vanishes".
(James 4:14) Therefore it is immensely important to prepare to meet
God. Each one of us has an appointment with death and the day of
judgment. God is very clear that if we die without Christ, we spend
eternity in Hell. He paid the price though by giving His own Son
to die on the cross to redeem us from sin by His blood (Romans 5: 8).
To think how He loved us enough to give His Son should lead us to repentance,
keeping in mind that eternity hinges on this one decision.
The Bible says, that if you shall confess with your mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from
the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
If you acknowledge your sin, confess it, and accept Christ with childlike
faith to fill that special need in your life, the most amazing thing will
happen. The grace of God, grace that surpasses all understanding,
will be more evident than you ever imagined, and those sins of the past
will be covered with His blood.

Pray this prayer to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior:
|
| "Dear Lord Jesus, I don't understand all of this yet,
but one thing I do understand is that I have sinned and there is a penalty
to pay for that. I am sorry for my sin and believe that, as the Scripture
tells us, You died for sins and that believing in You I can have forgiveness
of my sins, and eternal life. I do believe in You and ask You to
forgive me of my sins. I accept You as my personal Savior and ask
that You help me to grow in my faith and be all that You want me to be
as a child of God. Thank you for loving me enough to die for my sins.
Amen." |

I pray if you have not accepted Christ as your own personal Lord and Savior,
you will do so today. That is one decision you will never regret.
